What is RAW File?

• RAW (RAW Image Format) stands for unprocessed data. RAW is not an image format but rather a file containing the original data captured by a CMOS or CCD sensor, which converts light signals into digital signals. (Including ISO settings, shutter speed, aperture, and white balance.)
• Compared to the JPG/JPEG files, RAW files retain significantly more information, offering greater flexibility for post-processing while preserving fine details. However, RAW files require professional software (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop) for editing.
• Galois, as a professional scanning device, supports expert users (e.g., photographers, designers) in downloading stitched panoramic RAW data for further refinement. This enables advanced editing to fulfill higher-level creative or client requirements.
• Format: DNG

Downloading Raw File from Add-ons

Users can download the project's Raw File from the Add-ons section.

1. Click the corresponding VR project to enter the project preview interface.

2. Select the Add-ons option from the top toolbar.

3. Choose Raw File to download.

4. Click the Download Now button. In the pop-up window, confirm by clicking OK button.

5. Wait for the download task to be generated. Once ready, click Download to begin downloading.
