Overview

Users can use this feature to measure the space and display the measurements in VR Explore Mode.

Note：Compared to the Measure function when VR is displayed, Ruler function only supports measurement in the Explore mode and cannot be used in the Model mode. It is a label-based tool. After measurement, the results are fixed at the point in the form of a label and remain displayed at that point. On the other hand, Mesure function supports simultaneous measurements by multiple users and can be used in both Explore and Model. However, if you exit the Measure function after completion, the measurement results will not be displayed and are only available as a temporary reference.

Detailed Steps:

1. Click New Ruler, and a magnifying glass with a pointer will appear. Move the mouse to confirm the starting and ending points of the ruler.

2. The Scale content defaults to dimension information and can be customized or edited.

3. Click Save to complete the process. In Explore mode, the ruler information will only be displayed when you navigate to the point where the ruler was placed.

PC Display Operation

When navigating to the corresponding point, the added ruler information will be displayed automatically.

If you do not need it to be displayed, you can click Tools under More button at the bottom of the page and select Ruler-Off to turn it off.

Mobile Display Operation

When navigating to the corresponding point, the added ruler information will be displayed automatically. If you do not need this display, you can pull up the bottom menu bar, select Ruler-Off in Tools, and turn it off.
