Obtain a floorplan quickly and cost-effectively
Overview
This article provides a guide for quickly and cost-effectively obtaining, modifying, and downloading floorplan. Please note that the floorplan are AI-generated and may contain minor inaccuracies, but can be easily edited and refined using the built-in floor plan editor.
Editing Steps
If you are a Galois user, you can quickly get a floorplan with dimension information after you have successfully generated the project.
- Open the Console, select the project you want to edit from the project list, and click the "Edit" button.

- Click on "Floorplan" and select "Edit Floorplan" to enter the editing page.

- The page will display the automatically generated floor plan.

To ensure the optimal results of an automatic floor plan, the following conditions need to be met:
- Complete data collection is required; areas with incomplete models cannot generate a floor plan.
- Obstructions should be avoided as much as possible. For example, to correctly identify windows, curtains should be tied back.
- It is recommended to use the Model Trim tool to trim non-collected areas, which can result in a better floor plan.
- The space must be enclosed; non-enclosed areas will not produce a floor plan.
- The area should be within 200㎡. If the area exceeds this range, generating a floor plan cannot be guaranteed with 100% accuracy.
- If you use a Gimbal 1 or panoramic camera for data collection, the accuracy may be lower compared to professional equipment like Galois.
