Remove Camera
Overview
This tutorial will guide users through the process of removing camera images from reflective surfaces in panoramic images. This feature eliminates capturing device reflections (e.g., camera or tripod) reflected in shiny objects.
Note: This function only works for panoramic images and is not applicable to 3D models.
Editing Steps
1. Removing Device Images Reflected in Mirrors
- Click Adjust-Remove Camera.
- Click AI device identification at the bottom of the page to start automated processing.
- An estimated processing time will be shown based on the number of points. You can exit the editor during this time without affecting the process.
- After processing is complete, check the Removed List.
- This list will display all points where device images have been removed.

2. Restore Device Images (Optional)
- In the Removed List, locate the point you want to restore.
- Click the Delete icon to revert the removal operation for that point.

3. Capability Boundaries
3.1 Supported Scenarios
- The feature works best for mirrors with a gray Galois background, ensuring high-quality removal of device reflections.
3.2 Unsupported or Limited Scenarios
- Multiple Mirror Reflections: The feature may produce suboptimal results in environments with multiple mirror reflections due to increased complexity.
- Mirrored Cabinets or Furniture: Device reflections in mirrored cabinets or furniture are not supported, as these surfaces often distort reflections and make removal challenging.
