REALSEE G1 Smart Gimbal Introduction
REALSEE G1 Smart Gimbal Hardware Overview
The REALSEE G1 Smart Gimbal, launched by REALSEE in 2021, is a self-developed dual-axis smartphone gimbal designed to address issues such as high operational costs and inconsistent output quality in smartphone capture. It further supports the use of smartphones to replace panoramic cameras in rental property applications.
As a VR-assisted tool for smartphone capture, the REALSEE G1 Smart Gimbal utilizes two micromotors and Bluetooth communication to control the horizontal and vertical rotation of the smartphone. This allows the smartphone to automatically achieve optical center alignment during the capture process, ensuring stable and high-quality panoramic images. These images are then used for depth estimation and multi-point stitching to achieve 3D reconstruction. Additionally, the gimbal supports an ultra-wide capture angle of 360°x150°, with a resolution of up to 134-megapixel resolution.
With its highly automated operation and high-quality output, the REALSEE G1 has become a representative lightweight product in REALSEE's digital space capture product lineup.

REALSEE G1 Gimbal Capture Capabilities
Capture Efficiency
- Single-point capture time: 25s-35s
- Maximum capture points per project: 100
Capability Boundaries
- Supported Scenarios:
- Indoor spaces under 300㎡ (e.g., residential properties, commercial spaces).
- Unsupported Scenarios:
- Spaces larger than 300㎡ are not recommended (e.g., factories, open environments).
- Outdoor environments and low-light conditions are not supported.
Tips:
- Capturing excessively large spaces may be limited by smartphone memory.
- In open environments, the algorithm may fail, requiring manual point cloud stitching.
- Low-light conditions will degrade output quality.
