How should users place capture points?
Proper placement of capture points is essential for generating a smooth and accurate 3D tour. The recommended spacing may vary slightly depending on the device you're using and the characteristics of the environment.
- 📍 For Galois:
Generally, we recommend placing a capture point every 5-8 meters. However, the actual spacing between points should be adjusted according to the capture environment.
For repetitive or complex spaces like narrow hallways, we recommend shorter intervals of 2 to 3 meters to improve stitching accuracy and navigation smoothness.
- 📍 For G1:
Recommend placing capture points at 1.5-2 meters intervals.
Please make sure that adjacent points have a co-viewing area, as this ensures proper alignment by maintaining a shared field of view between points.
